Mercury Retrograde 2021

Tphyrone Grace
Okay, let's set the terminology straight. Mercury is either retrograde or not retrograde. Mercury is never "in" retrograde. LOL

It's a common misunderstanding or a saying that people get wrong.
It has become a term that has entered pop culture because it happens so much.

Mercury retrogrades three times in a year, and the duration is three weeks each time. In a year, that comes to about 17% of the time we're in retrograde! That is a lot!

Right about now, you may be asking yourself, "what the hell is Mercury in retrograde?" The word retrograde means backward step, and Mercury is said to govern transportation and communication. But is Mercury actually traveling backward? No. It has all to do with the speed and orbit in relation to the earth. With this being said, it only looks like it is traveling backward. But, I am here to talk about Mercury retrograde's spiritual effects and not give an astronomy lesson.

How does Mercury retrograde affect you?

Communicating with your friends or family will tend to be somewhat strained during Mercury retrograde. Still, it's also an opportunity to listen more in-depth and to take more time to state your opinion.

You may experience being misunderstood when attempting to get your point across. Breath deep and concentrate on your choice of words. Speak slowly, directly, and sincerely.

The critical bit of information you need to store in your memory bank is that the time during a Mercury retrograde will be challenging.

During this time, if everything does go wrong, again, it's an invitation to practice patience and going with the flow, and just releasing the tension.

In short, this is what you need to know to get through the subsequent two Mercury retrograde events.
May 29, 2021, to June 22, 2021, and September 27, 2021, to October 23, 2021.

I will not be specific with all of the astrology implementations, but just a general all-around what you need to know.
  1. Anything having to do with technology, machinery, travel, and communication approach with caution.
  2. Be patient, and don't rush to judgment upon hearing anything that you may disagree with.
  3. Be careful in trusting your memory.

There are many more things you should know about the up coming Mercury retrograde. I will touch more in depth how to get through it and how to protect yourself. Until then, blessings.
